Automate your charitable giving

DAFs

Turns out when you automate your giving, putting money aside for charity, when you set a goal, the research says that you actually end up giving more, something like 32% more, and that's a big number.

In the US, the US in 2020 gave about $476 billion to charity, and $331 billion of that came from individuals.

So we're not talking about big companies, we're talking about foundations.

Talking about individuals, it's a huge number, but 32% more would mean an extra $100 billion a year.

So to me, that was said, okay, there really is value to be created here.

Like if organizations had $100 billion more a year to work with, there's a lot of good that they could do with that.
