A Commitment to Learning, Nature, and the Future

When I completed my graduate degree in nonprofit administration, I was struck by a simple fact: most Americans give just 1–2% of their annual income to charity. That insight pushed me to increase my own giving — and to be intentional about the causes I support.

My love of French language and culture began back in seventh grade (poor exam scores and all). Today, I support Alliance Française San Francisco, an organization dedicated to promoting French culture and lifelong learning.

I also give to Bay Area Applied Mycology, because mushrooms genuinely do run the world — from soil health to environmental restoration.

Closer to home, Our City Forest helps keep San Jose green by planting and caring for urban trees. We’ve planted 33 trees on our property over the years, and I’ve seen firsthand what a powerful, community-driven organization this is.

Finally, the Amazon Conservation Team works to protect the Amazon rainforest alongside Indigenous communities. Regardless of where you stand on climate change, protecting our forests and biodiversity is essential for future generations.

These organizations represent education, environment, culture, and global stewardship — causes I care deeply about and hope you will consider supporting as well.
