Description
Glyphosate helps farmers control weeds, but repeated use can contribute to resistant weeds and affect surrounding plants and ecosystems. Farmers need practical ways to manage what remains in their fields without sacrificing crop production.
Ancient Organics has developed PaleoPower, a microbial treatment that helps break down glyphosate and restore biological activity in agricultural soil.
PaleoPower is already being used commercially across more than 75,000 acres and 25 crop types. In a California wine-grape trial, treated grapes contained 75.8% less glyphosate residue than untreated grapes. Additional field trials reported improved soil health, greater nutrient levels in crops, and increased yields.
Support would directly bring PaleoPower to more farms and independently measure the results across additional crops and regions. The goal is to reduce chemical residues in food while helping farmers maintain productive, profitable harvests.
