Description

In October 2024, as part of our Corporate Generosity Program, Aulick Engineering is sending a team of seven employees to Guatemala. This service project is aligned with our vision of showing kindness, helping those in need, and investing our time and our talents in support of others.

In partnership with Servant Ministries, we will be serving the people of the eastern region of Guatemala to provide support for the basic needs of life--clean water and sufficient nutrition. This remote area is known for its poverty, oppression, violence, and hopelessness.

While there, our team will be providing extra hands to support existing programs, funding and delivering food packs to local schools, funding and providing extra hands for construction projects, and investigating potential ways to provide a long-term solution to their water issues.

As we prepare for this trip, we realize that we alone cannot address all of the needs. In an effort to maximum the impact to this region, we are reaching out to our business partnerships to create awareness and invite you to join us in making a difference. Your support can provide an improved quality of life through helping to fund Eco Stoves for families. The cost of the stove with delivery and installation is $300 per stove.

Eco Stoves provide a means of cooking for the people in remote areas using two-thirds less firewood (which is significant due to the region's deforestation). Families typically cook outside over an open fire, which day after day, results in respiratory illnesses for family members. These stoves will enable families to cook inside with ventilation to the outside. Respiratory illness is another major issue in this region and our support can make a huge difference.

If you wish to support this initiative, your donation will go directly toward the purchase and installation of an Eco Stove for a family.

    Thank you for your consideration.
