    On January 20th, Trump will become president, and he will implement policy from the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 playbook.

    Each of these charities provides support in vital areas that Project 2025 impacts.

    For protecting civil liberties, the rule of law, and the upholding of our constitutional values Trump seeks to violate, we have the American Civil Liberties Union.

    To safeguard the rights and lives of LGBTQ+ people, that will be at risk with anti-LGBTQ+ policy, we have The Trevor Project.

    To protect our natural lands and climate that will be substantially less protected by the removal of climate policy, we have The Nature Conservancy.

    To prevent solely christian theocratic rule, we have the Freedom From Religion Foundation.

    To safeguard the right for women to choose, we have the Center for Reproductive Rights.

    And for fighting government surveillance, which broadly affects the ability of any administration to shut down protests, remove abortion access, and suppress LGBTQ+ rights, among nearly all other civil liberties, we have the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

    This isn't the only action we can take to counter a radical political playbook, and it certainly doesn't cover every possible policy choice, but it's something we can do right now to proactively work on preventing Project 2025's policy agenda from becoming the rule of law.
