Large amounts of information have been collected from cancer patients and their tumors, but researchers cannot manually examine every possible drug, tumor weakness, and treatment combination.
Covantage Therapeutics searches this information for treatments that may have been overlooked. It looks for existing medicines that could be used differently, combinations that may work better together, and characteristics that could identify which patients are most likely to benefit. The company then tests its strongest ideas on actual cancer cells and laboratory-grown tumors.
Covantage has built its discovery process and identified its first cancer programs. Support would directly fund the experiments needed to determine which ideas genuinely work and could be advanced by pharmaceutical and clinical partners with exceptional accuracy.
