Description

In Chicago, the rights and civil liberties of immigrants and people of color—regardless of immigration status—are being flagrantly violated by ICE every day. Families are being torn apart, people live in fear, and communities are under siege.

Several incredible organizations are fighting back and supporting those most affected:

    • Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR): Provides rapid-response assistance to individuals whose rights are being violated.

    • National Immigrant Justice Center: Offers legal aid to detained low-income immigrants across the country.

    • ACLU of Illinois: Challenges unconstitutional federal actions through litigation and advocacy.

    • Greater Chicago Food Depository: Delivers food to people unable to work or safely leave their homes due to ICE activity.

You can also help by learning and sharing Know Your Rights resources from ICIRR at icirr.org/fsn, or by calling their Family Support Hotline: 855-435-7693 for immediate assistance.

Together, we can stand with immigrant communities in Chicago and across the country—and ensure that no one faces injustice alone.
