Help Daelion Pharmaceutical Fight Pancreatic Cancer

Pancreatic cancer remains one of the most difficult cancers to treat, in part because the tumor environment can suppress the immune response that might otherwise help attack the disease. Daelion Therapeutics is advancing an immunotherapy strategy built around odetiglucan, an investigational therapy intended to activate innate immunity and improve the body’s response to the tumor. The program has already progressed into human medicine and is being evaluated in an ongoing Phase II pancreatic-cancer study following earlier clinical experience.

Daelion is using that study to generate the clinical evidence needed to understand how patients respond, how durable those responses may be, and how the therapy is tolerated. Pancreatic-cancer patients still have too few effective treatment options, and every new therapeutic strategy ultimately has to answer those questions in real patients before it can become part of clinical care.
