Description
Film productions, construction sites, and temporary operations frequently rely on diesel generators for mobile electricity. These generators produce emissions, noise, and local air pollution wherever they operate.
Hone has developed a 165-kilowatt mobile hydrogen-power system designed to provide clean electricity in locations where permanent infrastructure is unavailable. Through Third Derivative’s Clean Mobile Power Initiative, Hone completed a proof-of-concept demonstration for industry participants including Disney, Netflix, and Sunbelt Rentals. Disney subsequently used the system in two paid pilots.
Support would place Hone’s first commercial units in operation and demonstrate repeat customer use, reliability, utilization, and measurable diesel-emission reductions at scale.
