I can’t believe I even have to create this campaign, but here I am on a Monday afternoon, mad as hell. Yet again, our government has failed our most vulnerable citizens. SNAP benefits are in limbo for countless families across America, including many of our neighbors here in Connecticut.

We live in one of the most unequal states in America. When people think of hunger, they imagine faraway "big cities," not the quiet crisis happening in our own backyard. I grew up in Bridgeport (Connecticut’s poorest city), and I’ve seen firsthand what hunger looks like: silent, invisible, and devastating.

When those in power fail to act, it falls to us THE PEOPLE to take care of one another. No one in the richest country in the history of the world should ever go hungry. Hell no! Not today or ever, Satan!
