    The phrase “I AM” is one of the oldest human ideas on record. Across ancient cultures, long before modern religion or politics, it meant something simple: I exist, I belong to myself, and my life is not owned by anyone else. It’s the root of human dignity and self-sovereignty. Human trafficking is the total violation of that truth — it turns a person from “I am” into something owned, controlled, and silenced. This campaign exists to help restore that stolen agency. I’m supporting The Exodus Road because their work focuses on identifying coercion, exposing exploitation, and enabling lawful exits so people can physically walk free and reclaim authorship of their own lives. This is not charity as control or pity — it’s about removing cages and returning the most basic human right: the freedom to say “I am” again.
