Nexture Bio Creates Oral Path for Drugs without Ingestion

Some biologically active compounds are extremely difficult to deliver in a form patients can use easily. Nexture Bio has created and is manufacturing the Doselet, an edible, dissolving nanofiber patch that sits inside the cheek and delivers its contents through the buccal tissue. NAD+ is the first application, and the same platform is being adapted for more complex molecules including peptides. The product is already tangible enough to manufacture, distribute, and use rather than existing only as a delivery concept.
