The "Optimus Prime" Campaign:

1. The mission of The Father McKenna Center is to offer a haven of hope and dignity to men struggling with homelessness and families facing food insecurity.

The Father McKenna Center is an independent 501(c)3 and an equal opportunity provider in the Ignatian Catholic tradition located in Washington, D.C. We serve men struggling with homelessness and families facing food insecurity, providing a structured program supporting our mission. Our ability to continue this critical work depends on your support.

My friend, Frank Vasquez, is on the board and has been a long time supporter with his entire family. The Center has a low overhead, and a large majority of your donation goes to the people that need it. This is an opportunity to make a true impact donation. My family donates every year.

2. The mission of Fairfax CASA is to advocate for the best interests of each abused and neglected child referred by the Fairfax County Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court through the promotion and support of quality volunteer representation.

We seek to ensure that each child’s needs are identified and addressed with the goal of living in a safe and permanent home. As permitted by our legislative charter, we also provide assistance to youths entering adulthood who have been referred to the CASA program by the Court, up to the age of 21.

My friend, Mary Vasquez, volunteers for this organization. She personally shepherded the success story below through the Fairfax County Court System and is still involved with the family and kids.
