Description

Severe withdrawal can prevent people from beginning or continuing treatment for opioid-use disorder. Helping someone through that intense period can determine whether they leave detox or reach the next stage of recovery.

Speranza’s ST Genesis is a small, FDA-cleared wearable device applied by trained providers. It stimulates nerve branches around the ear to reduce acute withdrawal symptoms without adding another drug. In the clinical study cited by the company, patients’ withdrawal scores fell 93% within hours. The device does not treat opioid-use disorder by itself. It is intended to help people tolerate withdrawal and continue into comprehensive treatment.

Support would train additional providers, place devices in addiction-treatment settings, and expand patient access to this important first step in recovery.

Whether you’re raising funds for a global non-profit or a school booster program, it’s easy to give together with Daffy Campaigns. Leverage unique features such as matching, multi-charity support, donation impact, and more.

By donating on this page you are making an irrevocable contribution to Daffy Charitable Fund, a 501(c)(3) public charity, and a subsequent donation recommendation to the charity listed above, subject to our Member Agreement. Contributions are generally eligible for a charitable tax-deduction and a yearly consolidated receipt will be provided by Daffy. Processing fees may be applied and will reduce the value available to send to the end charity. The recipient organizations have not provided permission for this listing and have not reviewed the content.

Donations to campaigns are distributed to the recipient charities on a weekly basis. In the rare event that Daffy is unable to fulfill the donation request to this charity, you will be notified and given the opportunity to choose another charity. This may occur if the charity is unresponsive or if the charity is no longer in good standing with regulatory authorities.
