Description

Dustin and Nana Ekua Haffner are running in Sierra Leone to raise money for Street Child of Sierra Leone! Dustin will be taking on his first full marathon, and Nana will be running her first race on the African continent. Together, the Haffners will match every dollar donated up to $2,000. Since Street Child was founded back in 2008, its investment in building schools and state education systems, as well as its rapid response to emegency zones has uplifted over 1 million children worldwide. In Sierra Leone alone – the organization’s birthplace – it has helped over 246,000 children access quality basic education.

For the past two years, Dustin has run the half marathon distance in Sierra Leone, sharing the experience with dozens of local Sierra Leonians as well as fellow runners from all over of the world. Every participant comes to Sierra Leone to share a love of adventure and invest in positive future outcomes for children. It is truly the experience of a lifetime.
