Description

The Racial Equity Fund is part of the Agricultural Institute of Marin's efforts to reduce barriers to entry for beginning farmers, food producers, and artisans of color looking to enter the regional food system. The REF offers free market registration, free stall fees for 6 months, and business stipends. In AIM's first four cohorts, 8 AAPI farmers and food makers have participated in the REF program helping to strengthen and accelerate their businesses.
