I learned about The Lift Garage when searching for non-profits to partner with on solar projects. They were amazingly welcoming and open to new ideas, which led to me learning a ton about their mission and the importance of "transportation security". While rooted in broader issues, the fact that a struggling family can be utterly devastated from an unexpected car repair is sobering.

I have a long history in the non-profit space, so it was also wonderful to see how well run and focused on maximizing their impact the team at The Lift is. In 2023 alone they handled 1,520 discounted appointments, 956 free inspections, 72 express needs, and 163 mobile inspections. They're filling a very specific, critical need and growing their ability to provide their services in a responsible, effective way.
