Description
Rice husk ash is often discarded or treated as a low-value agricultural residue, even though it naturally contains silica, an ingredient manufacturers already use in products such as coatings and glass. Midwest-based Vector Advanced Materials is developing a way to recover and refine that silica into a high-quality industrial material instead of letting the ash go to waste.
Supporting Vector will directly help create a domestic source of a valuable industrial material, strengthen Midwest manufacturing, and generate more value from the agricultural supply chain.
Your support will help Vector produce consistent batches, verify the material’s quality, complete customer testing, and measure its potential waste-diversion and environmental benefits.
Support Vector Advanced Materials and help prove that an overlooked agricultural waste stream can become an American-made advanced material.
