You won’t believe this wonderful story! Each season, the Pittsburgh Youth Philharmonic Orchestra has many audience members, families, and community supporters reach out to us to ask how they can support our mission, whether by donating, volunteering their time, or becoming a sponsor!
Recently, we received a donation all the way from Scotland!
A kind lady who was searching online for information to organize her own trip to Italy happened to come across PYPO’s International Concert Tour publicity.
With no hesitation, and with no other connection to our organization, she looked us up and made a donation. She called it “simply a case of online serendipity!” Just like that… All the way from Scotland! 💚
Every time a community member decides to contribute to our nonprofit organization, they help us secure partial or full tuition assistance for over 40 students amounting close to $10K.
Your investment in the Pittsburgh Youth Philharmonic Orchestra provides students with enriching and life-changing musical experiences. Tuition fees only account for 56% of the PYPO expenses, and we work hard to make up the rest through fundraising and contributions from people like you.
