Mission
As a data-driven and innovative leader, Urban Pathways ensures that homeless and at-risk New Yorkers have the housing, services and support they need to be self-sufficient. Using a “housing first” approach, Urban Pathways engages New York City’s most vulnerable residents — people living on the streets or in other unsafe areas, many of whom live with mental illness — and provides them with comprehensive housing and services. Urban Pathways’ continuum of service provides outreach, drop-in services, and transitional and permanent supportive housing. Housing is complemented by case management, referrals for services, and assistance in maximizing daily living skills. Urban Pathways’ goal is to provide each client with housing and support so that they can achieve self-sufficiency.
