We work alongside and strengthen the hunger-relief network, partnering with more than 1,000 food shelves and hunger-relief programs in every corner of our 59-county service area. Second Harvest Heartland works to eliminate barriers to food access with creative and innovative solutions. Last year, we distributed more than 113 million pounds of food, over 97 million meals, to our partners in hunger-relief.
