About
To provide student athletes with free injury clinics every Saturday during the fall sports season, which generally runs from late August until early November and during the spring sports season which generally runs from early February until late March. During the clinics a physician or physical therapist examines the student who might have been injured either during a game or practice. To accomplish these objectives during 2018, on a typical Saturday morning, an average of 25 students are seen by the volunteers and if necessary, the students receive x-rays or physical therapy and referred to a physician or physical therapist for follow-up exam and/or treatment. A total of approximately three hundred(300)student athletes participated in the clinics.
