Mission

Our mission is to educate and empower mothers and others with actions and solutions to (con Sch O) create healthy communities. In 2019, Moms Across America (MAA) launched the utmost level of certification with the multi-tiered Gold Standard. Gold Standard brands will work towards the most stringent standards available today so consumers can trust products and practices. About

Education:A) MAA continued to build a food movement by informing and further educatingmillions each month via social media, live events, and campaigns. We reached an average of 1 million a month on Facebook and millions more in 2019 through other social media platforms.B) We initiated several new campaigns and promoted the campaigns of dozens of other organizations with petitions and other means to reach millions with information that transformed their understanding of the food supply and introduced them to opportunities for better (con Sch O) health and disease prevention.C) In 2019, MAA's executive director appeared in 15 print interviews, 5 radio shows, and 14 podcasts. Our executive director also wrote 3 articles that were published in large web and print properties. We are passionate pioneers of organics, influencers in our neighborhoods, and leaders in our communities.D) Japanese leaders again invited MAA's founder and Executive Director, Zen Honeycutt to speak before their leadership as they struggle to determine the situation with their own food supply. Zen's guidance and consultation with key leaders at their request is being sought on an ongoing basis and into 2020 as key decisions that will impact the global food supply are being made in these countries. Since Asia purchases the largest number of GMOs, this relationship is crucial to success in our movement.E) Over 20 Facebook Live interviews with experts and others who are dealing with the issues of health and the increase in toxins in our food supply and other areas.F) MAA wrote and shared via our web properties, email list, and social media accounts over 50 articles in 2019 on topics ranging from the presence of glyphosate in plant-based meat substitutes to alternative methods of weed control. Since inception, MAA has published 378 blogs and over 38 different pages of content on our website. In 2019, we have had over 260,000 direct and unique visitors to these blogs and pages.G) Our Action and Toxin Free Town Campaign pages have been viewed over 5,700 times in 2019, supporting moms and citizens across the country to be successful in having recorded many new locations that restrict or ban glyphosate on school grounds, parks, towns, and counties. These bans mean hundreds of thousands of pounds of glyphosate herbicides will not be polluting our water and communities.H) MAA continued to shape our narrative by creating relationships and collaborating with 25 organizations in 2019 to scale and leverage our efforts for the greatest impact.
