Mission

Creating IT Futures (CITF) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that works to unlock people's potential in tech. Formed in 1998 as the leading charity of CompTIA -- the world's largest (IT) industry association -- CITF opens doors to the possibilities in tech by providing opportunities for youth and adults to learn, grow and thrive as technologists of the future; and encouraging an IT path for people from communities traditionally under-represented in the information tech workforce, including women, people of color and veterans. This work is especially crucial now, as COVID-19 and the advent of automation have destroyed entire workforce sectors and made the demand for remote, well-paying IT-jobs even higher.
