The Belmont Community Organization ('the BCO'), established out of Christian love and concern, is a charitable, volunteer ministry dedicated to providing emergency aid for needy families and individuals in the greater Belmont area. The BCO offers assistance with the basic necessities of life: food, clothing, medicine, fuel and utilities, household furnishings, and medical equipment. The BCO seeks to relieve the hardships of clients in crisis situations and to help those with long-term needs or chronic problems, referring them to other appropriate agencies where help is available.
