Aquatic Life Institute (ALI) was founded in 2019 as a hub for aquatic animal advocacy, focusing on mobilizing, connecting, and coordinating the international aquatic animal welfare movement. ALI's mission is to reduce the suffering of the trillions of aquatic animals that are farmed or caught in the wild each year by advocating for high-impact welfare interventions, coalition-building, research, and policy engagement on a global scale.
