The Wetlands Conservancy (TWC) is the only organization in Oregon dedicated to promoting community and private partnerships to permanently protect and conserve Oregon's greatest wetlands – our most biologically rich and diverse lands. For more than 30 years, The Wetlands Conservancy has educated and assisted landowners, neighborhood groups, land trusts, and watershed councils on local stewardship to support fish and wildlife, clean water, open space and people's appreciation of nature.

Operations - Over the past fifteen years since launching our Oregon's Greatest Wetlands program, more than 55% of Oregon's best wetlands have been permanently protected, including over 1,500 acres that are now TWC preserves in the central coast, the Willamette Valley. and Portland metro region. Our operations program includes landowner cultivation, fundraising, communication, due diligence, and acquisition tasks which result in conservation of Oregon's greatest wetlands. The operations program also includes the activities that support and implement our organizational standards and practices and accreditation by the Land Trust Alliance.
