About this organization
Thanks to the generosity of Alamo families, our PTA and Friends of Alamo School Foundation fund a wide range of programs that are not funded by the school district. These programs include technology in the classroom, music, physical education, literacy and library supplies, Education Outside/STEM, field trips etc.
Alamo Elementary School, founded in 1926, is a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence located in central Richmond District in San Francisco, CA. The school serves close to 540 students, from kindergarten to fifth grade. Alamo’s goal is to provide a rich, rewarding education to our students delivered by our highly qualified teachers, staff and community volunteers.
