Provided over 10,000 patient visits to the residents of the combined Naco, Sonora, and Naco, AZ population. Two established neighborhood clinics in Naco, Sonora, serve both Mexican and US citizens. Both provide direct emergent care services, basic triage, screenings and testing services with emphasis on prevention, education, and a holistic approach to good health. In addition, both offer complementary medicine and therapies such as physical therapy, Reiki, massage, acupuncture, and sound therapy with specialized clinic days. On average, the clinics saw 50-55 patients a day seeking general health or emergency care 2500 patient visits a year seeking physical therapy 670 participants enrolled in a six-week diabetes prevention and education program 500-600 children receiving dental exams and/or cleaning in local schools and 400 patient visits a year seeking therapies including massage, Reiki, etc. There is also a weekly ESL class and a Family Connections 10-wk academic and social support workshops for parents/teachers of elementary school children.
