About
The Suazo Business Center is a small business and workforce development education resource committed to the development and empowerment of the Latino/Hispanic, and other underserved, communities. We support existing and new minority entrepreneurs and small business owners in becoming self-reliant and building wealth. We offer training programs in areas such as personal finance and business financing, traditional and social media marketing, and other basic business skills. We also provide content workshops in areas such as incorporation, business law, and networking. We also provide one on one counseling to new and existing business owners to support their ongoing operations and further growth and success, as well as workshops and funding options related to various business needs. In fiscal year 2019, we continued to streamline our operations protocols, as well as streamline our staffing and team needs. We began an alumni association to provide a networking tool for our clients, as well as launched a digital marketing branding hashtag (soysuazo) so our clients and friends can easily find one another on social media. We are most proud of the launch of our very successful women's cohort program. Ella was created to promote female entrepreneurship.
