Rockville Centre St. Patricks Parade Inc.

The organization conducts an annual St. Patrick's Day parade in March of each year in the village of Rockville Centre, NY, county of Nassau. The parade participants are Irish bands, Irish organizations and fire departments. The parade is viewed by all ages of residents of Rockville Centre and the surrounding communities. The parade committee is made up of local business leaders of Rockville Centre. Prior to the parade the committee advertises, solicits contributions from individuals and companies, sells 50/50 raffle tickets, contacts organizations to march in the parade, selects a grand marshal, lays out the parade route and sponsors a dinner the night before the parade to develop an interest in the parade and raise funds. The organization promotes Irish heritage and supports various charities.
