Awareness & Education:ICAHD-USA's core mission is to educate the American public about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, focusing on the effects felt by families and communities in Palestine as a result of the destruction of homes. We offer information and facilitate discussion about bringing peace to the region. In 2016 we distributed educational brochures, books, flyers, pamphlets, postcards, and leaflets to those interested in Middle East issues.ICAHD-USA's staff engages in regular speaking tours across the United States. At these events ICAHD-USA distributed educational materials.ICAHD-USA's electronic newsletter which is distributed via a listserv linked to our website reached thousands of individuals and organizations in 2016. We use the newsletter to announce and update our campaigns and programs, provide news of house demolitions, promote speaker tours, and offer educational materials. We have over 4,000 active email addresses on our listserv, and we continue to update it. The Director also uses his facebook page, with over 6,000 additional contacts, to keep our members and other interested parties updated on events on the ground.
