In 2018 the Foundation supported the UN Global Compact to plan and implement its programmatic goals. The UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 9,500 companies and 3,000 non-business signatories based in over 160 countries, and more than 60 Local Networks. The initiative also strengthens contributions to Sustainable Development Goal 5.5, which calls for womens full and effective participation and opportunity for leadership, including in economic life.
