THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF LWI IS TO CREATE OR RETAIN TECHNOLOGY-RELATED BUSINESSES, SAVE OR CREATE NEW JOBS, GENERATE NEW PRODUCTS OR PROCESSES, INCREASE RESEARCH FUNDING, AND TO FACILITATE THE TRANSFER OF TECHNOLOGY FROM RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT TO THE MARKETPLACE. THE SUSTAINABLE OZARKS PROJECT IS A CONSORIUM THAT WAS CREATED TO FOCUS ON THE IMPROVEMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY OF THE QUALITY OF LIFE AND BUSINESSCLIMATE IN THE FOUR COUNTIES SURROUNDING FORT LEONARD WOOD. THE PROJECTWILL ALSO ENABLE CONTINUED GROWTH OF FORT LEONARD WOOD. THIS PROJECT ISFUNDED THROUGH THE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (NAP) AND THESUSTAINABLE OZARKS PARTNERSHIP CONTRIBUTIONS RECEIVED.
