Great Expectations Program: By underwriting most of the costs of attending high school, Great Expectations enables high-school age youth from extreme poverty who have shown academic promise to earn high-school diplomas. This gives them the opportunity for a better life for themselves, their families. They become role models for other children. We provide: school fees, dormitory fees, school lunches, text books, educational activities, after school activities, and school uniforms. The program also has a strong evaluation component. We have collected qualitative and quantitative data (interview, survey), on students, parents & teachers with the goal of implementing effective and appropriate educational and psychological interventions.
