About

We worked with multiple niighborhooda and out City Council Member's office to organize a celebration of the re-opennong of a bridge over Interstate 35W and a Landlord Scorecard, promoted our housing loan and programs, and hosted weekly drop-in meetings for housing-related issues. We organized community engagement events including the annual Central Fair and Harvest Feast, our neighborhood meeting, and a back to school celrbration ans School supply giveaway. We expanded our PLAT-GROW-SHARE gardening program with 20 additional low-income residents/families that built raised garden beds, attending classes, and grew vegetables in their homed and at our community garden. PLANT-GROW-SHARE also hosted bonfire gatherings and gave away produce through weekly Little Free Farmers Markets.
