CHILD CARE RESOURCE AND REFERRAL SERVICES HELP IMPROVE THE QUALITY, ACCESSIBILITY, AND AFFORDABILITY OF CHILD CARE THROUGH CONTINUING EDUCATION, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, AND SUPPORT TO THOSE IN THE CHILD CARE BUSINESS AND ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT TO CHILD CARE CONSUMERS. IN 2018 FAMILY CONNECTIONS DIRECTLY WORKED WITH 90 REGULATED PROVIDERS AND CENTERS FOR AN ACCUMULATION OF OVER 840 HOURS OF FACE-TO-FACE TECHNICAL CONSULTATION. FAMILY CONNECTIONS TRAINED 90 CHILD CARE PROVIDERS DURING 2018.FAMILY RESOURCE SERVICES HELP EDUCATE, BUILD BOTH FINANCIAL AND FORMAL SUPPORT NETWOEKS FOR FAMILIES AND PARENTS OF YOUNG CHILDREN, AND OFFER FAMILY SUIPPORT THROUGH A RESOURCE LIBRARY AND TOLL FREE WARM LINE.DURING THE 2018 FUNDING YEAR THE ORGANIZATION WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE PARENTING CLASSES, SEVERAL EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS, 9 FAMILY FUN EVENTS, 29 COMMUNITY EVENTS, AND 47 PLAY N LEARNS.
