Farm internship program - intensive, comprehensive training program for approximately 30 interns each year who develop and increase their knowledge and skills for running an organic farm operation. Activities include planting, seed starting, composting, pest and weed management, harvesting, processing, sales and marketing. Educational farm tours - information sharing and hands-on activities about organic and sustainable farming for wide variety of community groups, including the University of Hawaii, the International Union for Conservation of Nature, Waialae School, the Young Government Leaders Group and more. 100+ served. Community partnerships - internship placement site for University of Hawaii West Oahu student in community food systems program; continued partnership with YMCA Camp Erdman for summer farm activities; continue wauke (Hawaiian fabric plant) growing project with Ka Lamaku La'Akea.
