Mission

CRCD is a place-based community development corporation created in 2005 in response to challenges faced by youth in under-resourced, historic South Central Los Angeles. CRCD's mission is to better sustain, coordinate, and improve local planning, development, and community services addressing the needs of low-income residents and small businesses in South LA. CRCD works with many partners in Los Angeles & South LA to foster a safe and economically vibrant community where young people can grow, learn, and lead. We integrate youth workforce development and education programs with neighborhood-level projects and initiatives, such as affordable housing and small business economic development, to revitalize neighborhoods and create positive community change.
