Friends of Baldwin ELC is a Boston Public School ("BPS") that enrolls 180 inner city children age 3 to 7 years old. It features an innovative extended-day program from 7:30 AM til 4:45 for the children at school. Most of the parents work outside the home, it is paramount to have an extended day program. Friends of Baldwin strives to have a ratio of 3 children to 1 adult throughout the entire day, in order to maintain its accreditation by the National Association for Education of Young Children
