THE FIRST TEE FOSTERS CRITICAL LIFE SKILLS THROUGH THE ACQUISITION AND INTERNALIZATION OF: 1) THE FIRST TEE NINE CORE VALUES: HONESTY, INTEGRITY, RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, COURTESY, SPORTSMANSHIP, CONFIDENCE, JUDGMENT AND PERSEVERANCE; 2) THE FIRST TEE CODE OF CONDUCT: RESPECT FOR MYSELF, RESPECT FOR OTHERS AND RESPECT FOR MY SURROUNDINGS; AND 3) THE FIRST TEE NINE HEALTHY HABITS: SCHOOL (OBTAINING KNOWLEDGE), FRIENDS (CREATING AND MAINTAINING HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS), VISION (PREPARING FOR THE FUTURE), PLAY (REGULAR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY), ENERGY (PROPER DIET AND NUTRITION), SAFETY (PROPER SAFE PRACTICES), MIND (COGNITIVE AND EMOTIONAL CAPABILITIES), FAMILY (HEALTHY HOME), AND COMMUNITY (EXTENDING SOCIAL OPPORTUNITIES). PARTICIPANTS ARE RECOGNIZED FOR OUTSTANDING ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT THROUGH OUR A/B HONOR ROLL PROGRAM, AS WE HELP YOUNG PEOPLE LEARN LIFE SKILLS AND DEVELOP CORE VALUES ON THE GOLF COURSE YET ENCOURAGE THEM TO TRANSFER WHAT THEY LEARN TO OTHER AREAS OF THEIR LIFE, INCLUDING SCHOOL.
