Mission

The Restoration House accomplishes its purpose by providing supportive transitional housing and ally teams in a safe learning environment where single mothers and their children have an opportunity to restore Life's Four Key Relationships through a personalized, guided plan. Life's Four Key Relationships: God - our relationship with God is the central relationship that affects all others. Self - God desires for us to view ourselves as He does, as created by Him and in His own image. Others - God desires for us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Creation - God desires for us to act responsibly toward His creation; He calls us to be good stewards of all that He gives us.

About

TRH provides supportive housing, family advocacy, and team mentoring. Traditional housing units are provided to each of its single-parent families for an average of two years. Each single-parent focuses on career development as they work toward self-reliance. TRH's family advocacy program assists with coordination and planning related to a single-parent family's vision for their future. A contract outlining the basic limitations and expectations of the TRH program is signed by each participating single-parent family. Mentoring teams of 6 to 12 mentors from local churches walk alongside each participating family. The mentor team provides emotional and spiritual support along with practical guidance.
