CareLink was founded in 1959 to help people with disabilities to live and work in the community with independence and dignity. At the time, encouraging people with disabilities to be active participants in their recovery and supporting them in the community was a radical alternative to institutionalization. The mission of CareLink Community Support Services is to serve individuals who need specialized supports to achieve recovery, wellness and self-determination.
