The nycshs archives is open to anyone wishing to explore the vast history of the new york central's railroads. Using the resources in the archives, the society publishes books, dvds, flash drives, photos, and other material covering all aspects of the nycs's operations. The facility has allowed us to consolidate all of our archive material into organized files and has made it more accessible for research and distribution. We have upgrade our i.t. system to allow digital access to much of our material and have recently acquired a cloud backup capability to ensure complete redundant access. Researchers and members are visiting the facility and we are providing digital access to much of our holdings.
