Mission
Our main objective at the FISH Food Pantry is to provide a five to ten day supply of food to families in need. However, in some cases, it is necessary to help more often until their situation improves. The families we serve come from the communities of Carpentersville, East and West Dundee, Sleepy Hollow, and Gilberts, Illinois.

Founded in 1970, FISH Food Pantry celebrates 45 years of service to the community in 2015. The initials of FISH tell the story: Friend, I Shall Help. We are an organization of volunteers helping people in emergency situations. In 2019, we provided food for more than 34,500 individuals from over 6,700 families. We use the Illinois Department of Human Services Income Eligibility as our guideline.
