Bible translation, literacy, and related mobilization and discipleship activities - Pioneer Bible consists of 495 teammates worldwide ministering to 43 million people in 85 different language projects in 18 countries. During 2018, we increased the number of active language projects from 84 to 85. Twenty one new churches were reported and 42 discipleship study groups. We drafted 38,594 verses of Scripture, exegetically checked 27,075 and published 23,448 verses for the first time. During 2018, we continued building a new capacity for sign language translation worldwide. Finally, we note that in the 42 year history of Pioneer Bible, our teams have drafted about 749,000 verses of the Bible, the equivalent number of verses as 94 New Testaments. We have published 3 complete Bibles and 18 New Testaments.
