About

Carnegie Museum of Art (CMOA) continues to be a strategic partner in regional education initiatives to reach and engage audiences with specially designed programs and activities, community partnerships, and free or discounted admissions and program fees. The art museum began the year with the beautiful 'Hiroshige's Tokaido Road' exhibition, a rare presentation of the Japanese printmaker's 53 stations of the Tokaido Road. In July, the museum launched 'Crossroads: Carnegie Museum of Art's Collection, 1945-Now,' a fresh reexamination of its modern and contemporary galleries, that tapped into CMOA's extensive collections. In October, CMOA launched the long-awaited 57th edition of the 'Carnegie International,' which brought the diverse works of 32 international artists to Pittsburgh, to wide acclaim. Attendance for 2018 reached 254,396.
