Child protection: The child wellbeing program ensures children's basic needs are met through the provision of material goods, counseling, nutrition and health care. In the past year, our successes include: - Daily meals for 44 children and monthly rice for 24 families - Safely exited 21 children and 2 families from the food support program - Provided 3 families with housing assistance - Found alternative family-based care for 96 children including 54 girls - Safely intervened in and closed 89 cases where a child was being harmed or was at risk of harm. - Treated 138 children with illnesses at the health centre, with 48 referred to specialist treatment.
