We rescued about 225 dogs and cats from shelters and other unfortunate situations. Each dog or cat received individualized and appropriate medical care, such as heart worm treatment, fixing orthopedic issues, and repairing internal injuries. All animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped and placed in forever homes. We provide pet food and supplies through the generosity of Chewys.com to over 125 rescues in the North Texas region. TMHPR volunteers have partnered with Duck Team 6 by going into elementary schools and teaching students about pet care and pet health. TMHPR has increased outreach, speaking at schools, colleges and business about the need to adopt not shop.
