The Denver Police Law Enforcement Museum (DPLEM) is dedicated to preserving the history of law enforcement and policing in the City and County of Denver through the collection and preservation of artifacts, documents and photographs for future generations and scholarly research; and to educating the public about the history of law enforcement through interpretive exhibits, educational programs, hands-on activities.As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, DPLEM was officially established in October 2008 with a governing board dedicated to meeting the goals and objectives of the organization. The board, as outlined in the DPLEM bylaws, has developed a comprehensive strategic plan that will guide the formation and progression of the organization from the earliest phases to the implementation of full-scale museum of displays and educational programs.
